About MyAccount
MyAccount is a portal where Nearmap users can access and manage their details depending upon their role.
MyAccount users
Users can be assigned one of the following roles:
- Administrator - See MyAccount - Administrators for more information
- Team member, referred to as user - See MyAccount - All Users for more information
Nearmap administrators
As a Nearmap administrator, you are able to manage users, monitor account usage, view your company's billing and subscription details, and create API applications.
Viewing the Dashboard
When you log into MyAccount, you will see your Dashboard, which displays notifications related to your account.
Managing users
Nearmap administrators are responsible for getting users up and running with Nearmap. They invite users to a Nearmap account and can grant, revoke and change a user's Nearmap subscription.
An administrator also has the power to make a user a Nearmap administrator.
Viewing data usage
What consumes data? It is worth understanding what actions consume data from your subscription.
Nearmap administrators can view the consumption on your Nearmap account. Consumption is charged by usage type.
You can view
- Usage for each subscription (where there are multiple)
- 12 month usage history if your allowance is annual
- Monthly usage
- Usage per user
Managing subscriptions
As an administrator, you can view and make changes to your subscription, such as restricting an account and setting the account to renew automatically at the end of term.
Managing billing information
As an administrator you can view billing information and update credit card details.
Managing API applications
API Applications allow you to organise your Nearmap API integrations, and set different access restrictions for different integrations. You can create as many API applications as you need on your Nearmap account. Once you've set up an API application, other Nearmap users will be able to create their API keys for that application.
Nearmap users
As a Nearmap user, you can access MyAccount to manage your profile and your Watchlist, edit your email address and access your MapBrowser projects. You can also set up API and WMS 2.0 keys from within MyAccount. All of this functionality is available to administrators too.
Viewing the dashboard
When you log into MyAccount, you will see your Dashboard with notifications related to your account.
Updating your profile
Your Nearmap profile is where you update your personal details, email address or change your password.
Creating your Watchlist
Your Watchlist is a collection of the locations that you've opted to watch in MapBrowser. From your Watchlist you can control how you watch that location and whether you're notified of updated imagery for that location.
Managing integrations
As a user, you set up your own API keys as well as simple and custom services from MyAccount.
