The Text tool in the toolbar at the top of the screen allows you to add text annotations to imagery in MapBrowser.
Click the Text tool, and enter the text you want to add to the image:
Changing base layers will persist the text annotation between layers, however when moving between Vertical to Panorama or Oblique, the placement of the annotation will be be slightly off due to the change in perspective.
Annotations currently cannot be ‘saved’, but this is a feature that will be available in the future.
Note: Annotations are currently only available on desktop.
You can easily save a copy of the imagery base layer that you are viewing.
Open the menu and click on 'Save Map'. The image you see in your browser window will be saved to your computer as a .PNG file.
You can now save a copy of the map with any measurements that you've made included in the image.
Go to 'Save Map' in the menu and ensure 'Include Map Objects' is selected.
If you have measurements on the map, and wish to print the image without including the measurements, simply uncheck the 'Include Map Objects' option and click 'Save'.
