Nearmap WMS and WMTS integrations allows users of off-the-shelf GIS and CAD applications to load high-resolution imagery on demand.
WMS or WMTS?
WMS is more supported than WMTS. It loads large single files.
WMTS loads tiles. Tiled maps typically load quicker, at the expense of less flexibility in terms of supported projections.
Web apps typically like working with a tiled map service, such as WMTS.
Our Tile API is similar to WMTS, so you may want to consider it as an option. Read more: Tile API.
