Full Design allows you to see the following design options:


You will also see all Nearmap imagery types that are part of your Nearmap subscription.

Switching to Full Design mode

By default all first-time OpenSolar users see Basic Design Mode. You need to opt into Full Design Mode in one of the following ways:

1. Full Design Mode in current project

To enable Full Design Mode in your current project only:

Click on ENABLE FULL DESIGN.

When switching from basic design to full design you will not lose any information you added to the basic mode. If you make changes in the full design and go back to basic design you may lose some information. You can use the Undo and Redo buttons (or CTRL Z / CTRL Y) to avoid losing information.

2. Full Design Mode on all your projects

To enable Full Design Mode all your projects, from within Studio:

  1. Click the Settings icon, then select Studio Preferences:


  2. In Advanced Setting disable Start in Basic Mode
