The Export tool allows you to export Vertical imagery and other Nearmap content which can be used in other applications.

Vertical imagery can be exported as a high resolution image or a georeferenced image. The export tool can also be used for 3D and AI content.

Each of the export options is described in the following sections.

Export High Resolution Image

Exporting a high resolution image is very useful when you need a high quality image export, for example for printing imagery.

Click the Export tool and select High resolution image from the drop-down menu:

Select an area you would like to export, and choose the resolution you want for the exported image. When you click Download Image, the file is saved locally to your computer as .jpg.

You can use the high resolution option for Vertical imagery only.

Notes:

  • Annotations and measurements are not included in the exported high resolution image.
  • Rotated imagery cannot be exported in high resolution, instead the imagery is exported in its original orientation.

Export Georeferenced Image

Exporting georeferenced files is very useful when you want to export an image for use in third-party applications, such as ArcGIS and CAD.

Click the Export tool and select Georeferenced image from the drop-down menu:

Choose the relevant projection for your project, and the resolution you want for the exported image.  When you click Download Files, the image file and the georeference file are saved locally to your computer as zip file,  the image file is saved as .jpg, and the georeference file is saved as .jgw.

You can use the georeferenced image option for Vertical imagery only.

Notes:

  • Annotations and measurements are not included in the exported georeferenced image.
  • Rotated georeferenced imagery cannot be exported, instead the georeferenced imagery is exported in its original orientation.

Export 3D

You can export an area in a number of 3D formats. You must have a Nearmap 3D Export subscription to export 3D content.

To learn more, see: Export 3D.

Export AI

AI Parcel Data can be exported from MapBrowser as parcel rollup spreadsheets (csv) and vector layer (geopackage). You must have an Nearmap AI subscription to export AI Parcel Data.
