  • Unmaintained gardens - if plants are still growing, they aren't debris, unless they are damaged
  • Vegetation no longer attached to a growing plant rooted in soil
  • Burnt trees that are still standing
  • Scattered leaves are excluded unless the leaves either form a continuous carpet on the ground or a pile. Foe example, the ground is visible half the time through the leaves.
Suitable Use CasesTo identify debris that creates a fire risk (that could burn), or creates problems after a storm (blocking roads or gutters, etc.).
